Kiwi is a Magic daughter out of Apricot. She is a long bodied, deep, soggy, nice profiling cow with lots of bone and rib, and she gets better with age. She is fertile, with lots of milk. She is calm, easy going, and fun to work with. She passes her appeal and attitude to her offspring. Fall weight is 1975, with a BCS 7 and MPPA CHAPS ratio is 101 with a calving interval of 344 days. Her 2005 Spin City calf, Sunflower, weaned at 740 pounds. We really like this heifer, but since Spin City is a PHA carrier we bred Kiwi to Topper for a 2007 calf (Kaisers Tulip). Topper really clicks with Kiwi – she is confirmed pregnant to Topper for a March 13, 2008 calf.
